Play and Learn Scheme CIC was formed in 2019, and we now deliver in multiple settings. We also deliver an outstanding holiday programme across the North West of England that integrates local communities through diverse, fun and safe activities.

I have over 20 years of experience in childcare, For the past three years, I have worked with Play and Learn Scheme (PALS), where I have been involved in planning activities, supporting children’s wellbeing, and ensuring high-quality childcare provision.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. These activities help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and bring energy to my role.
I’ve spent 22 years navigating the world of logistics. With a talent for keeping things moving, I’ve built my career on solving problems most people don’t even realise exist.
For the past two years, I’ve brought that same steady hand to PALS, managing accounts with precision and patience. I’m the kind of person who actually enjoys making sense of numbers, deadlines, and client needs all at once.
I have over 25 years of childcare experience and a genuine passion for helping children thrive. For the past two years with PALS, which has allowed me to continue doing what I love most: supporting young people as they grow, learn, and build confidence in themselves.
Outside of my professional experience, I enjoys reading, sports, and spending time doing the things that make life joyful.
We are an OFSTED registered company and so we are able to accept alternative payment methods such as childcare vouchers and other government schemes.

At each of our ‘PALS’ clubs the children learn through many different types of play and gain an insight into the world in which we live. All of our highly skilled play workers are dedicated to ensuring that strong partnerships are formed with all families.
Together as a team built with healthy parenting and high quality learning opportunities we can provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow and develop. During their time at our club the children experience social interaction with others, develop encouraging friendships and future life skills.
